Licensed Counseling & Consulting

Stop & Breathe. You're in the right place. L & L Counseling is here to help you connect the dots. We work with clients dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, and family conflict from a behavioral and somatic perspective. Are you looking to get past both current and past hurts in order to live a more fulfilled life; In order to be at peace with others and most importantly, yourself? While it does take time to get to that space, the desire is there and though many are unaware of how to reach their goals, they show up to address them. If you show up, you will get the support needed to bridge that gap and the help to guide you every step of the way.

Good Faith Estimate - No Surprise Act

You have the right to receive a "Good Faith Estimate" (GFE) explaining how much your medical care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don't have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

  • You have the right to receive a GFE for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like intake assessments and therapy services.

  • Make sure your health care provider gives you a GFE in writing at least 1 business day before your medical services or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a GFE before you schedule an item or service.

  • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your GFE, you can dispute the bill.

  • Make sure you save a copy or picture of your GFE.

  • L & L Counseling provides GFEs via IvyPay billing portal for your review. You can request a separate document and one will be provided.

  • For many services, like counseling, the GFE is easily calculated by multiplying the session cost that is agreed to in the Financial Agreement provided by the number of weeks in a year.
